Morality is replaced by what is politically correct for that state. That is, whatever serves the interest of that countries' political system, is worthy of praise. That which does not is against the state, and therefore God, and under Sharia Law, some would argue that those who contest this should be punished by death.

Who decide such things? Men do, and because they don't recognize morality as we define the term, there is only their God to pronounce on what is evil. These same men claim to be the ones chosen by God, therefore they, the chosen ones, have absolute authority over the lives of the common man.

These so called leaders also claim that their positions are given to them by the will of the people, except that the people have no power to express that will through the ballot box.

Sadly we now live in a world where there is no longer any respect for life or the beliefs of others. Incidents such as we have seen in Bali, Madrid, and now London, are but the tip of the iceberg.

You can not talk to, negotiate, or reason with, someone who fanatically believes that he or she is right, and that there can be no other point of view. Therefore it is you who must change. If you do not, and die as the result of the actions taken by the terrorist, it is of no consequence. If the perpetrator of the act dies, it is glorious, and he will go on to the next life to live with his God. Those who die as a result of his actions are damned. If a 'true believer' should die as a result of these actions, they should be thankful that they have died for the cause, and will go to be with their God. That sadly, is how they think.

What makes it all the more difficult for our intelligence services, is that the terrorists of today live amongst us. They are either foreigners living here unlawfully, or with papers, or as we are now seeing, British citizens born and brought up in this country.

Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan, are supposedly closed to them, but thousands of young British and European misguided Muslims, are being trained to commit acts of terror in special camps and schools, in Afghanistan or more importantly, in the northern region of Pakistan. They also being trained in other parts of the world, including the UK. These people have not disappeared, they live amongst us in our society, and are literally the boy or girl next door.

It is their very normality that makes them so dangerous. Their own families are totally unaware of their intentions or beliefs, and they are respected by everyone in the community. It is the only way to maintain total secrecy, and in some cases they will have been told that they will walk away from the scene of their crime, but will be killed by the bomb they are carrying when it is detonated by a timer or by remote control.
